Rush has doubled the length of their surprise 2026 Fifty Something Tour due to “incredible demand,” adding 11 new dates to their first tour since drummer Neil Peart’s death in 2020. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will be joined by drummer Anika Nilles for the upcoming run of shows, which will now feature four dates each in Los Angeles, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, and Toronto, with two shows in Cleveland and one in Mexico City. “After all that has gone down since that last show,” Lee said, “Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fu**ing miss it.” The shows will feature the band performing two sets every night, while drawing from a 35-song pool for each setlist. The tour kicks off June 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles – where Rush played their final show with Peart in 2015 – and concludes on September 19 in Cleveland. Presale starts October 16, with general on-sale beginning October 17. (Rolling Stone)
